From Cusco to Cajamarca, these artisan families from the Andes of Peru create beautiful wool and alpaca textiles, woven by hand. The families are poor, often living on a diet of potatoes and bread, but they are gracious and hardworking. The profits earned from selling their beautiful bags, totes, headbands, and pillow covers provides money to buy medicines, healthy proteins for their diet, and fees for school for their children.
