Recycled Tin People Magnets:
This recycled tin magnet was creatively made by artisans living in and around Kisumu, Kenya. Because there are no waste disposal services in Kisumu, huge rubbish dumps have multiplied throughout the city, adversely affecting the health of residents and the natural beauty of the area. The community-based organization, Zingira Nyanza, tackles these environmental challenges by employing talented local artisans who create arts and crafts using only recycled materials or materials from natural sustainable resources.
